Pause and ask your self this question.

Answer from your heart not your head

Do you give back to yourself & nourish your heart & soul?

& what helps you feel nourished? 

We always seem to find excuses to fill our time with things to do, people to see, jobs to do. But in reality how many of these things can we hold back from for a moment to give some nourishment back to ourselves?  Maybe we recognise this and have started a regime and then life gets in the way and we forget again, all of a sudden we can’t remember when we stopped, is this you? I know this is me.

Most times it is because of the story we have relayed in our own mind, the patterns we have created from what we expect of ourselves, or the message we have heard from others, our mums, our friends, our partners, our teachers in life. 

The message was quite clearly “work harder” “rest is being lazy” “but” & of course,  “I don’t have time”

What if we were to break down this construct and challenge those patterns and start to reinforce new healthier ones instead like, 

“Self care matters” “self preservation gives me nourishment and therefor, from that place, I am showing others that it’s ok to look after themselves too!” “ when I take care of myself I have so much more to give, effortlessly!”  “Time is on my side”

Why not give this a try:

Catch yourself, catch your thoughts- re-educate your message in the moment & every moment you catch yourself. No judgment here guys, just an observation of your construct and then a gentle reminder to change that pattern to support you! 

Perhaps you already do this?  What strategies do you have in place ? 

Maybe try these:

Breath awareness and practices

Yoga or other mindful practices

Stretch & Move your body 

Have Cuddles

Walk outside 

Smell the air, the flowers, a piece of fruit 🍉 

Have a leisurely bath

Wear your favourite or comfiest outfit

Drink from your favourite mug

See friends 💕

I would love to know what works for you. 

Or even if this has helped to prompt you to make a pledge to notice what is your construct, and give your self the well earned permission you deserve to reinforce self love and self nourishment as a must, not a luxury. I will promise to do this more as well. In it together.

Express Sessions

Exciting news!!! I am adding express sessions to the timetable and recorded library.

This means there are sessions, mostly, but not exclusively, 15 minutes so you can fit them easier into your busy schedules. Sometimes finding an extra hour can feel too demanding on the already stressful demands of our day. So you can be guilt free and jump straight on in for a 15 minute session :

weighted workout, Cardio Crush, Ab-tastic, Barre, Leg & Butt, Breathe and Calm, Meditate, Self massage releases for shoulders, necks etc, Stretch and Release,

As an integral teacher they will be drawn in from many practices- Yoga, STOTT Pilates, GARUDA, Franklin Method, Bodywork, coming at it from an integral approach of Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit, so much more than just movement. Please see the timetable below for regular live zoom sessions.

You also have the recorded library of over 300 sessions on the private Facebook members page , that keeps growing!!!

Happy 2022 everyone, are you also overwhelmed of how time just disappears over the last few years?

I have to admit, I have been way too over indulgent this December, eating my bodyweight in chocolate!! I don’t do the alcohol so that’s a relief. I have always had to fight with myself with being addicted to sugar, and some times I get it right and feel amazing then somehow go down that slippery slope again of being a sugar, but mostly chocolate addict. And if you know me you know I mean addict!

Well, I am trying again form the start of this public message to try again to get on the right track, so my bones don’t hurt form the sugar, have you ever noticed that? I have but only since menopause though (as never ever hurt or ached, even when I was a triathlete, I had boundless energy, strength, drive) when I cut out all carbs, no pain or aches and I don’t have to click my foot or back. So even though I know and feel this I still struggle to do it, it is so ridiculous.

I would love to know your views and experiences and how you manage, so do share as we can all help each other out.

So this January I am offering you a Wellbeing Bootcamp month for only £50

this gives you access to ALL LIVE sessions through January. this is a minimum of 36 sessions

over the month you will have

Power 45, Garuda Flow, Garuda and Pilates Barre, Pilates with props, Pilates Mat with focus on core, supple spine, legs and butt, repertoire etc, Restorative Reset, Yoga Flow, Yoga Chill, Meditation and a few bonus sessions thrown in including a talk with a special guest.

Sound Immersion

Lie, be still, immerse yourself in sound vibrations and frequencies, taking you on a journey into deep relaxation and altered state of consciousness.

Using Himalayan bowls, gongs, crystal bowls and percussive instruments.

This journey is totally unique to you how you experience it, and each soundbath will also be unique in itself.

Soundbaths can bring about immense changes on every level of being: physical, emotional, energetic and spiritual.

We will start this session with setting an intention and breath awareness meditation as we then settle into a respectful silence.

The sounds will then start to play, dancing in and around you as your analytical brain tries to make sense of the sounds , it finally gives in and the creative brain emerges.

Ending with Sunyata- the nonexistence of the elements of things and of the self, the liberating feeling that arises during meditation, the sense of freedom from ones thoughts and distractions. In this silence we let the healing work of the sounds be experienced.

Relax, be and surrender to the sounds in this sonic immersion.

November with SGP

Autumn is here and its definitely got a nip in the air!!!!

The desire for a hot chocolate and cream, curl up on the sofa and snuggle down with the husband and the dog is definitely calling!

The mornings seem harder to get up in the dark, but I do love the Yoga at 7am starting slow and easy to building up and seeing the sky lighten by the end and being ready to start the day feeling good in my body and my mind. So its totally worth it.

October 29-31st SGP Coastal Retreat- there is still currently one private ensuite room available,

9:30am Power Hour – integral practices using body weight, weights, bands for resistance or repetition to amp up your session

Tuesday

*7:00am Yoga Flow- easy start and building up gently into more of a flow

8:00am Pilates & Props

these may be bands, cushions, belts, hoops, blocks, chairs etc bring what you have.

7:00pm Move, unwind and relax

an integral session to move, strengthen and then unwind from the day with a relaxation sessional the end, bring your blankets, eye masks

Thursday

*7:00am Yoga Calm- focus on breath, restoratives and gentle steady practice

9:30am Pilates

Working through the repertoire and variations, optional use of props to help or challenge can be used

Friday

9:00am Garuda

except to move in all directions, roll around, play twister!, be challenged, open, close, arc and curl

10:45 Restore, Rejuvenate & Reset

this is the most gentle of all the session, whether you are tired, stressed, wanting to nurture, have an injury, or just love the balance. Please bring cushions, blankets, eye masks, this session can be very varied, with use of gentle movement, self massage, meditation and sometimes gongs or crystal bowls. leaving you relaxed and calm with ease of mind, body, soul.
