Gentle yoga, moving through asanas and breath to release built up tension and make space in our bodies and mind so we can feel more ease and flow

Sound Baths help trigger the relaxation response helping us to return to our natural resonance and harmony creating positive wellbeing.

Sound can be our anchor to help us shift our focus away from the constant fluctuations of the mind, allow us to be present, absorbing the sounds, it is possible to release tensions, discomforts, release emotional pressure, gain clarity and insights, feel grounded, it can help with burn out and frustrations and help us find joy and calm.

small enough to be seen and heard, aligned, guided, to connect and make new friends even with yourself!

So don’t hesitate especially if your first thought is “oh yes I need that!” “that’s sounds just what I need!”

What to expect on the weekend

Arrive as early as you like on the Friday and take in the scenery, the national trust land and the coast, maybe walk around the villages of Mortehoe or Woolacombe, explore the area and any one of the beautiful bays and beaches. grab a coffee and read a book. We will meet up in Miss Faes’ Cafe at 2 pm for coffee/tea and a slice of homemade cake, this weekend is indulging in pleasure and being free, so don’t feel guilty, enjoy! 

Class times are approximate as we will adapt to tuning into life as we go, depending on the weather and where we hold the session. outdoors or indoors in the super cute village hall.

Classes are labelled as Movement, WS, Sound or Meditation.

(Movement an integration of Yoga, Pilates, Garuda and  Restorative Reset)

Friday 

2:00pm Meet & Greet, tea/coffee and cake 

3.30 pm Arrival  Welcome, Connection and Meditation 

4:00pm Movement session 

5:00pm  SoundBath Session

8:00PM 3 course dinner (sit from 7:30)

Saturday 

7:00am Headland Detox Flow and Meditation, Silent Reflection 

8:00am Morning Movement 

9:00am  Cooked Breakfast 

Pick up your packed lunches and free time to use it as you like, walk the coastline, swim, read, shop, book a sea session, we can find out more nearer the time depending on sea and tide states, weather, wind etc

4:00pm Movement Session

5:15pm  Gong Bath Session

8:00pm  3 Course Dinner (sit from 7:30)

Sunday 

8:00am Headland Detox Flow and Meditation, share and enjoy your experience 

9:00am Continental Breakfast

11:30am  WS, Movement and Closing Out Meditation

After lunch of course you can chose to stay a little longer and walk off lunch before your drive, always a good idea, get some sea air, so don’t plan to rush.

You can book an extra night stay, but you will need to book this at the time of your booking. So let me know, this is a Beautiful option to have a chilled Sunday afternoon and an easy journey back on the Monday. Maybe even book a private studio or treatment session with myself before you go.

I am very excited to share this weekend with you.

April, well hello there!!

Spring and Easter is right here and I feel like how did that happen?

The sun has been kind and have enjoyed the odd break to feel a little of the sun rays on my face in-between my schedules. Restrictions are being lifted and people are starting to appear in the streets and beaches.

How do you feel about that?

Does it fill you with apprehension or joy?

Life has changed, people are choosing new ways to approach things and we are all still finding our feet.

I know lots of things have changed for me, and it is partly scary and partly exciting, as what will unfold.

I have no idea and I can only go with the flow and see what reveals itself, as they say one door has to shut for another to open, and whether that’s instant or slow and takes time I shall endeavour to know it will all be ok!

April term is all ready to go, with Pilates, Garuda, Franklin Method and Power Hour on the payment plan and Meditation and Yoga are available as pay as you go or a course, please enquire.

May is being worked on with hopefully some early morning Yoga slotted in to start your day the right way before work or a day entertains the children, grandchildren or yourselves.

May Coastal Retreat is FULLY BOOKED and hopefully will go ahead, 4 had to be cancelled over the last 12 months so I am excited for this to go ahead, to share time and space with beautiful people.

SoundBaths are being scheduled along the way with different flavours and themes. on line aswell as in life realtime, yayyyy so excited to share these with you.

Private sessions available in live in my Woolacombe Studio, online and also monthly in Bristol starting soon.

So everyone, lets keeping hoping and being positive that we can move forward, we can see loved ones again, we can a coffee time, dinner, and even cuddles in the near future.

I am so excited to share this event and to be able to work with my lovely friend Juliette.

A Pilates mat session with Juliette  to start the morning and wake up those bodies. Taking a contemporary approach to her movement, Juliette will lead you through 45 minutes of Pilates moves on your mat.

10:15 comfort break

10:30 Garuda Flow – Sue

Sue’s Garuda sequence of full spinal articulations to nourish discs and move all the joints of the spine. Fascial flow to create spaces in the tissues creating a more flexible and harmonious strong body. 

11:15 Comfort break and grab a drink, get comfy for your talk

11:30 Nutritional Nuggets– Juliette

Your nutritional session will be half an hour discussion, what really  is healthy eating? Myth busting the nonsense around not eating carbs. Juliette is very passionate about this topic, and believes toast gets a bad deal!! Bring a pen and notepad to jot down additional questions for Q&A

12:00 Comfort break, time to get your blankets, eye masks, run upstairs to lie on your bed and get super cosy

12.15 Guided and Sound Meditation– Sue

Join Sue (insight timer meditation teacher) on this Sound Bath of Himalayan Bowls, Crystal Bowls, Chimes & Percussion to help you drift into an altered state of consciousness to complete your wonderful day.

12:45 -13.15 Q&A on any subject (nutrition, exercise, wellbeing, advice) tea/coffee/cocoa and chance to share our experiences.

November Term

November Term, an enriched program of Mind, Body, Soul with its influences being about embodiment, feeling, sensing, awakening, somatic and interoception.

Interoception– defined as the internal state of the body. It encompasses the brain’s process of integrating signals relayed from the body allowing for nuanced representation of the physiological state of the body. Why is this important? For maintaining homeostatis in the body and potentially facilitating self awareness. Misrepresentations of internal states, disconnection, have been suggested to underlie anxiety and depression.

When you can experience your body, everything can fall into place from movement itself, clarity of thought, personal relationships, releasing tensions emotional and physical. This topic alone can send me off into a whole realm of topics and discussions hence why I am opening up the ABC to Wellbeing Program to help you create, experience and understand it in an embodied sense. This course will be so valuable and life changing and even enabling you to get even more joy, peace, ease and flow out of everyday life, work, relationships to self and others, including seeing more depth into our monthly programs. So please register your interest, maybe even receive the ABC Wellbeing program for a gift for YOU or a loved one, friend for Christmas!

Anyway, back to November, 😊, the nights are drawing in, so being mindful of the season, and circadian rhythms the evening sessions will be gentle or strength based but with both you will be winding down early and having 15 minutes of relaxation/meditation to settle energies and the parasympathetic nervous system into a rested state, perfect to release the days stress and prepare the body and mind for goodnights sleep. Remember to follow this through with switching off gadgets well before bedtime, choosing your lights for your house to be soft and warm not harsh lights as this messes up the circadian rhythm , eat earlier in the evening, avoid stress provoking situations, news and TV will also help.

Thursday Barre is back! use a table, worktop, window ledge or even a wall. A whole body standing push, pull, arc and curl for the most beautiful sensory stretch session , In my opinion.😊
